Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation is seeking a Senior Director, Total Rewards and Payroll to lead the strategy, design, governance, and execution of compensation, benefits, and payroll programs worldwide. You will partner with executives, HR, and Finance to deliver competitive, compliant rewards and accurate payroll across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in compensation, benefits, and payroll.
• 5+ years leading teams and managers.
• Expertise in executive compensation, equity programs, and Compensation Committee reporting.
• Global benefits and payroll operations across countries; M&A a plus.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and FMLA.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience in technology industry or HR consulting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus; certifications preferred.
• Certifications such as CCP/CEBS/CBP/SHRM-SCP or CPP/FPC preferred.
• Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the global total rewards and payroll strategy.
• Advise executives and HR on rewards and payroll matters.
• Lead, coach, and develop Total Rewards and Payroll team.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and cost forecasting with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations including pay transparency.
• Oversee benefits, 401(k), leave, and voluntary programs.
• Own end-to-end payroll processes, US and international.
• Drive payroll automation and integration with HRIS and Finance.
