Job summary

1Password LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Global Total Rewards to lead compensation, equity, benefits, and related programs across a global technology organization. You’ll guide an approximately eight‑person team and partner with senior leaders to build scalable, equitable programs that support our mission to keep digital work secure for all.

Qualifications

Senior-level experience leading global Total Rewards programs (compensation, benefits, equity, retirement).
Experience guiding Total Rewards strategy through growth, governance changes, or IPO.
Ability to advise executives and boards with complex analyses.
Deep knowledge of equity strategy, grant programs, and governance.
Experience building job architecture, pay bands, and multi-market frameworks.
Experience leading HRIS, payroll, and compensation tech implementations.
Experience using AI, analytics, or scenario modeling in Total Rewards.

Responsibilities

Lead a global Total Rewards strategy across tech, cybersecurity, and other areas.
Coach and develop a global team with clear communication and change management.
Strengthen governance, data integrity, and operating practices.
Define future Total Rewards tech and data ecosystem including AI usage.
Partner with Finance, Legal on executive compensation and board materials.
Oversee equity strategy, global programs, and pay equity initiatives.
Set strategic direction for benefits, retirement, leave, wellbeing across international expansion.
