Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Tissue Technology Manager to lead technical sales and development in North America. You will combine deep tissue process knowledge with customer engagement to translate challenges into Valmet solutions that improve performance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Paper Science or a related field, 3–5 years in the paper industry, and willingness to travel across North America. Authority to budget and negotiate orders is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science with advanced knowledge in Tissue processes.
Minimum 3–5 years of related experience in the paper industry.
Associate or technical degree with hands-on Pulp & Paper experience could be considered.

Responsibilities

Coordinate proposal development including scope, specification, performance guarantees and pricing.
Partner with sales to build close customer relationships and drive performance.
Lead project start-up, interfacing with customer and internal resources to meet goals.
Coordinate functions related to profitable sales and technical success.
Apply solutions to customers' machinery, support in specifications and negotiations.
Communicate clearly between customers and Valmet departments.
