Valmet is seeking an experienced Tissue Technology Manager for our North America team. You will blend technical expertise with sales and business development to advance customer manufacturing requirements and present Valmet technology as the solution.

You will coordinate proposals, work with the sales force to strengthen customer relationships, and ensure success across projects. A paper science background with tissue process knowledge is required, and travel across North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paper Science; advanced knowledge in Tissue processes and Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of related experience in the paper industry.
• Willingness to travel across North America and globally.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate proposal development: scope, specifications, performance guarantees and costing.
• Collaborate with the sales team to build customer relationships and drive performance.
• Lead project start-up and ensure goals and guarantees are met with internal teams.
• Provide solutions for applications to customers’ machinery and assist in technical specification generation and negotiations.
• Communicate clearly between customers and Valmet departments; participate in budgeting and results reporting.
