Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Tissue Technology Manager for its North America team. The role blends technical knowledge of tissue processes with sales and business development to present Valmet technology as the solution for customers’ manufacturing needs.

You will coordinate proposals, support pricing and costing, and work closely with the sales team to build strong customer relationships while driving project success and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paper Science or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in the pulp & paper industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal development, scope, specifications, performance guarantees and costing.
• Collaborate with sales team to build customer relationships and meet targets.
• Lead project start-up, coordinate internal resources and ensure goals and guarantees are met.
• Communicate clearly between customers and Valmet internal departments; support budgeting and pricing decisions.
