Job summary

Qnity Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Global Technology Guardian (GTG) at our Newark, Delaware site to lead mechanical conversion technology.

This role defines the Most Efficient Technology (MET) and owns the multi-year roadmap for CMP conversions, coordinating with Manufacturing and Technology leadership to drive automation and next-gen processes across global MT engineers. Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Engineering withMechanical/Chemical/Industrial emphasis.
• Minimum 8+ years in MT/R&D in a manufacturing setting; strong technical leadership.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment and process issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and lead the GTG global network for Mechanical Conversions for the CMPT business.
• Define and maintain the MET and Technology Roadmap for Conversions.
• Create a prioritized annual execution plan in support of the technology roadmap.
• Provide mentoring and support to Run Plant Engineers and early career MT Engineers.
• Provide technical direction to improve competitive advantage in CMP pad manufacturing.
• Drive process improvements in Conversions to boost yield, quality, uptime, and capacity.
• Partner with operations on root cause analysis for complex manufacturing problems.
• Develop and approve basic data for capital projects with vendors and site engineers.
• Represent the technology position in SOWs, design reviews, tests, commissioning, and safety reviews.
