Insight Global partners with a Global Leader in Electronic Materials to fill a Sr. Metrology & Automation Engineer role at the Newark, DE site.

The position leads metrology and automation initiatives within Manufacturing Technology, partnering with R&D, Manufacturing, Product Quality, and external vendors to advance measurement capabilities. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, designing and launching metrology upgrades, qualifying new tech, and coordinating with HVM teams to

Qualifications

Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Polymer, Material Science, or relevant fields.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Metrology, Automation, and Manufacturing Technology Experience and prior responsibilities in project leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead multifunctional project teams in scouting, design, develop, and implement new and improved metrologies.
Create strategy, design, and launch metrology and equipment automation efforts
Lead new technology qualification and change management with customers
Work with stakeholders to develop and manage project execution with well-defined milestones, timelines & resource need
Interface with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) teams to establish best practices in sustaining metrology stability, capability, parts and spares, and maintenance cadence
Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for metrology and system issues
