Job summary

Point2 Technology seeks a Global Technical Sales Manager to drive adoption of our EDC/CDR solution in high-speed optical networking deployments. You will translate complex silicon optoelectronic capabilities into clear business value for optical transceiver modules used in MSO and 5G/6G telecom, PON, and data center apps.

You will interface with customers at the technical and executive level, lead roadmap discussions, and grow revenue by managing pipelines and multi-year forecasts.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Optics required.
• 7+ years in technical sales or field applications in semiconductors or optics.
• Deep understanding of ICs, high-speed transceivers, PAM4/NRZ signaling.
• MBA is a plus, strong communication and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of the EDC/CDR solution for SFP28 optical transceivers in front haul 5G/6G and MSO apps.
• Serve as primary technical interface, presenting signal integrity and interconnect solutions to system architects.
• Generate opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and negotiate pricing for multi-year revenue forecasts.
• Identify new Telecomm, MSO and data center applications; align roadmap with customer needs.
• Build ecosystem partnerships with suppliers, module vendors, and system integrators.
• Engage with technical, commercial and C-level stakeholders throughout the customer base.

applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of our EDC/CDR solution for SFP28 optical transceiver modules used in front haul 5G/6G Telecommunications and MSO applications
• Primary technical interface for customers, presenting advanced signal integrity, interface equalization, and interconnect solutions to system architects and hardware engineers and drive roadmap discussions
• Generate business opportunities, manage sales pipelines to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, pricing negotiations, and multi-year revenue forecasts
• Identify new applications in Telecomm, MSO, data centers, aligning company products and roadmap with evolving customer needs
• Build ecosystem partnerships across suppliers, module vendors, and system integrators
• Manage ecosystem engagements with technical, commercial and C-level stakeholders at direct transceiver customers and end user customers

Qualifications

• Education: BS/MS, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Optics; MBA a plus
• Experience: 7+ years in technical sales, Field Applications or account management within the semiconductor or optical markets
• Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of IC, high-speed optical transceivers,
• TOSA/ROSA architecture, signal integrity and PAM4/NRZ signaling
• Soft Skills: Self-motivated and able to operate independently, exceptional
• The ability to travel domestically/internationally
