Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to serve as the Global Process Owner for a global maintenance program, owning the end-to-end standard from definition to global execution.

You will drive cross-organizational consensus, communications, and delivery of a multi-year vision, ensuring safety and readiness across AWS regions. The Successful Candidate will collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and vendor teams, manage risks, and report

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, with risk/critical path management.
• 3+ years experience operating and maintaining fuel systems and regulatory compliance.
• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own operational relationships with support teams and cross-organizational stakeholders to drive performance.
• Demonstrate analytical skills and use data to back up assumptions, build business cases, and set goals.
• Collaborate with customers, sponsors, product managers, and internal teams to define and deliver complex solutions.
• Recognize and drive opportunities to simplify and standardize processes across the program.
• Own the technical standard for the program and influence designs.
• Lead delivery of large, complex technical projects and programs.
• Identify bottlenecks, manage escalations, make decisions, and unblock progress.
• Identify, track, and mitigate issues and risks across the program.
• Communicate program health to leadership on a regular cadence.
• Travel up to 25%.
