Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Technical Program Manager II to serve as the Global Process Owner for a global maintenance program. You will own the end-to-end process from definition through global execution and continuous improvement, driving cross-organizational coordination and delivering complex technical projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining electrical power distribution equipment >1000V.
• Experience with electrical safety and maintenance regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own operational relationships with support teams and cross-organizational stakeholders to drive performance.
• Use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and set program goals.
• Interact with customers, sponsors, product managers, and internal teams to define and deliver complex solutions.
• Proactively simplify and standardize processes across the program.
• Own the technical standard for the program and influence designs.
• Lead cross-group collaboration and timely delivery of large, complex projects.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, escalate, make tradeoffs, and unblock decisions when needed.
• Identify, track, and mitigate issues and risks across the program.
• Disseminate program information to stakeholders and report health to leadership.
• Travel up to 25%.
