Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist to join our Global Technical Product Support team in Illinois. This hands-on role collaborates with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, Service, and Learning & Development to ease installation, service, and support of our products.

You will provide technical support to field technicians and partners worldwide, troubleshoot issues, create guides, and help launch new products.

Qualifications

Associate or technical degree in IT, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in technical support, field service, product support, engineering support, or similar technical role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with electronic, electrical, mechanical, IT, or related technical systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Provide input on installation and service requirements for new product development.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to address installation and service issues.
Participate in product reviews, meetings, and launches.
Create and maintain technical support materials and guides.
Develop training materials, product demos, and service videos.
Offer technical support to technicians, installers, service teams, and partners.
Troubleshoot technical and product-related issues and identify recurring problems.
