Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an analytical and highly motivated Technical Accounting Manager to join our Global Controllership team. You will drive emerging technical accounting issues and support financial reporting and the global audit process.

Reporting to the Director of Global M&A and IT Accounting Center of Excellence, this role requires strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, 5-7 years of auditing and reporting experience, and collaboration across regional controllerships.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in financial statement auditing and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Ability to independently evaluate nuanced accounting standards and conduct analyses.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical accounting interpretation and application across business units and transactions.
• Author detailed accounting memorandums and review disclosures for financial statements and audits.
• Standardize accounting policies and governance across global units.
• Collaborate with regional controllerships and shared services to resolve reporting issues and support the audit process.
