You will perform technical accounting research, contribute to GAAP financial reporting, coordinate with external auditors, and help implement SOX controls and close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of tech accounting and financial reporting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP general ledger systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical accounting research and documents conclusions in memos.
• Assists in preparation of internal and external financial reporting per GAAP.
• Coordinates with external auditors and prepares supporting documentation.
• Develops and implements internal controls to ensure SOX 404 compliance.
• Keeps up to date with new accounting standards and assesses impact.
• Consults with business management on accounting matters.
• Plays a key role in monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Participates in annual goodwill impairment assessments.
• Liaises with tax and finance departments and external consultants.
• Performs ad hoc analyses as needed.
