Blackstone is seeking a Senior Vice President – Technology Recruiting to lead strategy and execution of technology talent acquisition across the United States and globally. You will partner with senior technology leadership, HR, and business stakeholders to attract, assess, and hire top tech professionals.

This role requires deep market knowledge, stellar stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in a high-performance environment while aligning with the firm’s long-term tech strategy

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology recruiting or executive search.
• Experience recruiting across software engineering, data platforms, cloud, cybersecurity, product management, and enterprise tech.
• Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies for evolving tech orgs.
• Proven leadership of recruiting teams and scaling hiring capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of global technology talent markets.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior tech and business leaders.
• Experience advising on market dynamics and compensation practices.
• Proficiency with recruiting tech and platforms.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills for multiple searches.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of a comprehensive tech recruiting strategy aligned with Blackstone’s priorities.
• Partner with senior leaders across Technology, HR, and business units to anticipate talent needs.
• Manage full lifecycle recruiting for senior and specialized tech roles (engineering, data science, cybersecurity, cloud, product).
• Advise hiring managers on candidate assessment, market dynamics, and compensation.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators.
• Develop deep knowledge of tech talent markets and competitor hiring activity.
• Collaborate with centralized sourcing on complex searches and niche roles.
• Maintain pipelines through direct sourcing, networks, referrals, and firms.
• Establish relationships with external search firms and tech communities.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and continuously improve processes and reporting.
