Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in the United States seeks a Global Account Director for Technology, Road North America. You will develop and win national and cross-border road transport opportunities for tech clients in the US, Mexico, and Canada, collaborating with operations and pricing teams to craft practical, scalable solutions.

You will build senior-level relationships, manage the pipeline, and coordinate across functions to deliver measurable value and growth for DSV.

Qualifications

• Several years of progressive experience in road transport logistics.
• Ability to collaborate with operational departments and internal experts to design effective customer solutions.
• Strong business development and consultative selling capability toward technology clients.
• Established sales references showing wins and growth with complex customer relationships.
• Motivation to achieve defined road transport targets through external activity and internal collaboration.
• Commercial acumen including pricing, profitability, customer value, and negotiation trade-offs.
• Executive-level communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong planning, prioritization, pipeline-management, and forecasting discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted BD strategy for technology, cloud, and semiconductor clients across the United States, Mexico, and Canada for the Road division.
• Build a qualified pipeline of new national and cross-border road transport opportunities.
• Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution development, pricing, negotiation, and conversion.
• Translate complex customer supply chain needs into practical road transport solutions.
• Partner with operations, pricing, solution design, tender management, and other internal teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Support account managers during visits, reviews, and expansion of road transport solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and position DSV as a strategic partner.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and timely opportunity updates in the CRM.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and external activities.
• Ensure a coordinated handoff to implementation, operations, and account management after a sale.
