Fluidstack, an Austin-based technology company, is seeking a senior member of its Tax Team to lead tax due diligence on acquisitions and investments, structuring deals across US federal, state, and international tax, and building a robust transfer pricing framework.

You will design internal restructurings, own intercompany tax positions, and collaborate with deal teams and counsel to shape tax outcomes aligned with business goals. CPA/JD/LLM credentials are highly valued.

Formación

• Experience running tax due diligence on acquisitions or investments.
• Experience structuring acquisitions, JVs, or financings across US federal, state, and international tax.
• Experience internal restructurings across multiple entities and countries.
• Experience building or rebuilding a transfer pricing framework with documentation.
• Experience handling state intercompany issues across several states.
• Ability to explain a technical tax position to non-tax executives.

Responsabilidades

• Run tax due diligence on acquisitions, site and power deals, and JV investments from LOI to signing.
• Structure acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings across US federal, state, and international tax.
• Design and execute internal restructurings across entities, states, and countries.
• Build the transfer pricing framework across US, UK, and Europe: intercompany agreements, pricing policies, benchmarking, documentation.
• Own state intercompany positions, such as apportionment and related-party addbacks.
• Collaborate with deal teams and outside counsel to deliver the tax answer on the deal’s timeline.
• Explain technical tax positions clearly to a non-tax executive.
