Clearwater Analytics, LLC is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead global tax provision work and oversee federal, state, and international tax compliance. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will drive planning initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams across 15 countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related certification (CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax settings.
• Ability to independently resolve problems requiring in-depth analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and primary review of the global tax provision under ASC 740, including SEC disclosures and SOX.
• Support tax compliance and planning across federal, state, and international filings.
• Coordinate with local advisors on foreign compliance and transfer pricing documentation.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and journal entries related to taxes.
• Assist in preparing statutory financials and respond to tax audits as needed.
• Stay current with U.S. and international tax law and implications for acquisitions.
