Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Director of International Tax Strategy to design and govern the company’s global tax strategy for rapid international growth, under a very low tax risk tolerance. This in‑house leader will oversee income tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing while protecting ESOP structures and ensuring audit‑defensible positions.

The role partners with the CFO and executive leadership, serving as the primary advisor on international tax matters and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field is required.
• CPA, JD, LL.M. (Tax) or equivalent preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive tax experience with international exposure.
• Demonstrated expertise in international corporate income tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own international tax strategy, governance, and risk management.
• Provide oversight of U.S. and international indirect tax compliance and audits.
• Design, implement, and govern a global transfer pricing framework.
• Support international acquisitions and post‑deal integration with tax input.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and governance teams.
