Job summary

ByteDance’s Data Team in San Jose is seeking a senior Talent Acquisition professional to lead recruitment for R&D and cross-geo needs. You’ll partner with business leaders, shape TA strategy, and drive a high-touch candidate experience across a fast-paced tech environment.

You will develop scalable hiring processes, manage SLAs, and mentor a global recruiting team while ensuring compliance with local laws and sophisticated talent acquisition workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in in-house or agency recruitment background.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• A self-starter who is result-oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious, and who takes initiative and risks.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D recruitment with understanding of cutting-edge tech sectors (such as LLMs and AR/VR hardware), with a proven track record of managing talent acquisition across diverse business lines.
• Deeply understand hiring needs, partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders to develop talent acquisition strategies in different geographies.
• Develop efficient hiring processes and ensure high-touch candidate experience to continuously deliver high-quality candidates and meet hiring goals.
• Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and other best practices to improve processes and increase recruitment output.
• Work with country and business unit leaders as well as the operation teams to understand relevant laws as well as manage and oversee the recruitment lifecycle globally for all ByteDance candidates to ensure great candidate experience.
• Manage, coach and mentor members of the global recruiting team.
