Job summary

Allegion is offering a Summer Intern role in Carmel, Indiana, to support Global Supply Strategy. You will gain experience in supplier management, risk assessment, supplier diversity, and digital tools while partnering with category managers and visiting manufacturing sites.

Qualified students will work with ERP systems such as Oracle, SMART by GEP, and PowerBI, and participate in playbook development and KPI projects. This is a hands-on internship with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Management, International Business).
• At least 1 year of related experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative in school or work projects.
• Moderate understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
• Ability to work in both team and individual settings.
• Desire to learn and grow by working on projects impacting Allegion's business.

Responsibilities

• Deepen understanding of the strategic initiatives of global supply management (GSM).
• Shadow Supplier Quality Engineers to gain knowledge of major quality processes and tools.
• Familiarize with ERP systems and technologies such as Oracle, SMART by GEP, and PowerBI.
• Develop automation and improve standard processing and data collection through software updates.
• Expand knowledge of risk factors to lead risk management initiatives within a Supply Chain.
• Lead projects to analyze and revise KPIs, audit alignment, and process improvements.
• Attend Young Professional meetings.
• Attend Allegion site visits to understand operations and how supply chain impacts daily work.
