Job summary

Allegion invites motivated students to join our Global Supply Management team in Carmel, Indiana as a Summer Intern. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to new product development, supplier relationships, risk management, and digital transformation in a global manufacturing company focused on safety and security.

You will work with industry experts, support procurement technologies like Oracle ERP and SMART by GE, and use Power BI to analyze data.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, International Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Learn about Allegion’s global supply management strategies and how they support business goals (New Product Development, Sourced Product, Direct Material).
Gain hands-on experience with procurement technologies, including ERP systems like Oracle, SMART by GE, and data visualization tools like Microsoft PowerBI.
Support supplier & external risk management efforts by analyzing risk factors and helping develop mitigation strategies.
Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the impact of Supplier Diversity programs on ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
Lead projects both internal to GSM and on a company-wide basis furthering the exposure to other functions within Allegion
Lead efforts to digitally drive change within the organization
Build foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
