Allegion is offering a Summer Intern position in Carmel, Indiana within the Global Supply Strategy team. You will engage in supplier relationship risk management, diversity, quality, and systems compliance while potentially traveling to manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Management, International Business).
• At least 1 year of related experience (Preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative in school or work projects.
• Moderate understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
• Ability to work in both team and individual settings.
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
• Strong time management and problem-solving techniques.
• Desire to learn and develop by working on projects impacting Allegion’s business.

Responsibilities

• Deepen understanding of global supply management strategic initiatives (GSM).
• Shadow SQEs to learn major quality processes and tools.
• Familiarize with ERP systems and tech used in purchasing (Oracle, SMART by GEP, PowerBI).
• Develop automation and improve data collection through software updates.
• Lead projects to analyze and revise KPIs and ensure audit compliance.
• Attend Young Professional meetings.
• Attend Allegion site visits to understand operations and supply chain impact.
