Job summary

Allegion’s Global Supply Management team in Carmel, Indiana is seeking a Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in new product development, supplier relationship management, risk management, supplier diversity, and digital transformation within a global manufacturing and security solutions company.

You will work with Oracle, SMART by GEP, and PowerBI, supporting risk mitigation, engaging diverse suppliers, and building foundational supply chain knowledge for a safer, more secure world.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative through activities or work.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Learn Allegion’s global supply management strategies and how they support New Product Development, Sourced Product, Direct Material.
• Gain hands-on experience with procurement technologies like Oracle, SMART by GEP, and PowerBI.
• Support supplier and external risk management by analyzing risk factors and developing mitigation strategies.
• Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the impact of Supplier Diversity programs on ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
• Lead internal GSM projects and contribute to company-wide initiatives guiding digital change.
