Job summary

Allegion’s Global Supply Management team in Carmel, Indiana invites a Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in new product development, supplier relationship management, risk management, supplier diversity, and digital transformation within a global manufacturing and security solutions company.

You will work with industry experts, participate in real projects, and develop skills that will launch your career in supply chain and strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative through activities or projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Allegion’s global supply management strategies to support NPD, sourced product, and direct material.
• Gain hands-on experience with procurement technologies and ERP systems.
• Support supplier risk management and mitigation efforts.
• Engage with diverse suppliers and understand Supplier Diversity programs.
• Lead internal GSM projects and drive digital change within the organization.
• Build foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
