Job summary

Crystalia Glass LLC in the United States is expanding its Supply Engineering team and seeks an experienced Supply Engineering Team Lead to scale operations, optimize procurement, and mentor a four‑person team.

Reporting to the CTO, the role is 80% leadership, 20% hands‑on procurement, overseeing supplier relationships across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia while driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within glass, glazing systems, or related industries.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading procurement/sourcing teams
• Experience building or scaling procurement from scratch, including processes, supplier management standards, KPIs and team structure
• Experience with international procurement across multiple regions (US, Europe, Middle East, Asia)

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations for production, warehouse, and installation.
• Coordinate glass orders and ensure availability of hardware and materials.
• Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.
• Review drawings and specs to prepare material lists.
• Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality before orders.
• Track procurement changes through project lifecycle.
• Source and manage supplier relationships across regions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Lead and develop a four-person Supply Engineering team.
• Mentor, assign tasks, and monitor deadlines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and Engineers.
• Drive continuous procurement improvements across workflows.
• Support engineering changes and substitutions.
