Job summary

Crystalia Glass LLC, a U.S.-based custom glass solutions provider, is seeking a Supply Engineering Team Lead to scale procurement operations and lead a four-member team. The role balances leadership (80%) with hands-on sourcing (20%) to support peak workloads and complex projects.

The successful candidate will optimize procurement processes, manage supplier relationships across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and work closely with Sales, Project Managers, and Engineers to ensure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in glass/glazing or related industries
• 3+ years of people management experience leading procurement/supply teams
• Experience building or scaling a procurement/sourcing function from scratch with processes, workflows, and KPIs
• Experience designing and implementing procurement processes across full purchasing cycle
• Experience with international suppliers/markets across Europe, Middle East, Asia, and North America
• Hands-on sourcing/procurement of glass, glazing components, architectural hardware, fittings or related materials
• Experience managing supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, and risks
• Experience with international logistics, import/export, customs, and cross-border procurement
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and engineering docs
• Experience implementing procurement tools, workflows, and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools
• Fluent English; Russian language a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement operations and strategy for production, warehouse, and installation
• Coordinate glass orders and ensure availability of hardware and materials
• Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs
• Review drawings/specifications to prepare material lists
• Verify dimensions, finishes and quality before orders
• Monitor procurement docs and changes throughout projects
• Develop supplier relationships across US, Europe, Middle East, Asia
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Manage supplier performance and resolve issues
• Mentor a team of four Supply Engineers
• Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and monitor deadlines
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and performance reviews
• Support engineers with complex sourcing challenges and escalations
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement workflows
