Confidential company is seeking a Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist to support purchasing, inventory management, and global supply chain operations. You will ensure accurate purchasing, on-schedule inbound shipments, and provide reliable product availability data to internal teams.

The role requires organization and attention to detail, with opportunities to improve efficiency across purchasing, inventory, logistics, and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, supply chain, or related admin.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP system preferred.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple POs, supplier communications, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with international suppliers.
• Understanding of inventory concepts, lead times, inbound logistics.
• Organizational and follow-through skills.
• Willingness to learn established processes; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Submit purchase orders based on approved reorder points and schedules.
• Maintain open POs with supplier confirmations, ETAs, and delays.
• Process PO receipts in ERP ensuring quantities and costs are correct.
• Maintain inventory and purchasing reports (months-on-hand, SKU movement).
• Monitor international production and shipping schedules and timelines.
• Communicate with overseas suppliers on production and shipping details.
• Track drop-ship orders from placement to delivery and resolve delays.
• Coordinate with warehouse, accounting, and other teams for smooth inventory flow.
• Maintain organized digital records for POs, invoices, and receiving records.
