We are partnering with a growing international organization looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and overall supply chain operations.
This hands-on role will focus on product availability, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination while supporting local sourcing and supply chain improvement initiatives. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization with strong growth potential!
Essential Duties & Functions
- Manage procurement activities for assigned product categories and suppliers, including creating and maintaining purchase orders and replenishment plans.
- Monitor supplier confirmations, lead times, production schedules, and delivery timelines to ensure product availability.
- Coordinate order changes, expedites, and resolution of supply-related issues.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support customer demand while minimizing excess and slow-moving inventory.
- Coordinate inbound shipments and replenishment activities from domestic and international suppliers.
- Track international shipments and work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to support timely delivery.
- Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, lead times, and supply chain data to support replenishment and stocking decisions.
- Identify slow-moving, excess, and at-risk inventory and recommend actions to improve inventory performance.
- Support forecasting and inventory planning activities and recommend stocking strategies for new and existing product lines.
- Identify, evaluate, and support the qualification and onboarding of local and regional suppliers.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring performance related to delivery, quality, responsiveness, and lead-time adherence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support supplier quality, new product introductions, sourcing initiatives, process improvements, and overall supply chain objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or operations.
- Experience managing suppliers, purchase orders, inventory levels, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Experience with inventory planning, replenishment, and supply chain data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
