Job summary

Smith+ Nephew offers a Supply Chain Leadership Development Program in Memphis, TN for new graduates in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related fields. The program runs over 2 years with rotations through different supply chain functions and professional development opportunities.

Participants will work with functional managers and mentors, complete continuous improvement projects, and present progress and Capstone results to senior leaders across Supply Chain and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering or related major.
• Must be in excellent academic standing, with a 3.3 GPA preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge in each rotational area and achieve the objectives described in each rotation’s application.
• A functional manager and peer mentor will be assigned to each rotation.
• In addition to day-to-day rotational responsibilities, additional continuous improvement activities will be expected.
• Participate in a variety of professional development opportunities during rotation assignments aimed at familiarizing the new graduate with Smith+ Nephew and the medical device industry.
• A development mentor and executive mentor will also be assigned to provide career coaching and guidance.
• Create presentations, perform analytics, or other tasks that can be presented to senior leadership.
• Present a Capstone presentation at the conclusion of each rotation to senior leaders across Supply Chain and Procurement.
