Job summary

Ultra in New York City is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Lead to own sourcing, purchasing, and inbound logistics as we scale manufacturing from 100 to 1000+ units. You will build supplier relationships, negotiate terms, run RFQs, and ensure on-time delivery for a fast-moving hardware platform.

You’ll also shape automation tooling and AI-assisted processes to run the function at scale. We value hands-on operators who balance cost, speed, and reliability, travel internationally as needed,

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning procurement, sourcing, and/or supply chain in hardware/manufacturing.
• Strong supplier management: qualify vendors, negotiate pricing, build long-term relationships.
• Track record ensuring POs and approvals run smoothly and behind them are systems.
• Experience with inventory management and demand forecasting, building tooling.
• Willingness to travel internationally, including to China, for supply base growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage vendor relationships across domestic and international suppliers.
• Own ordering, purchasing, and planning; run RFQs and NPIs with cross-functional teams.
• Own inventory accuracy and demand signals; build tooling to scale processes.
• Manage lead times and costs; flag and mitigate supply risks for critical parts.
