Blaze Talent is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Lead in New York City to own sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships as we scale robot production. You will streamline ordering for the manufacturing team and enforce quality and delivery standards across a global supply base.

The role emphasizes automation, tooling, and AI-assisted processes to replace repetitive tasks, while you manage critical negotiations and supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning procurement, sourcing, or supply chain in hardware/manufacturing.
• Strong supplier management: vetting and negotiating with vendors.
• Experience with POs, approvals, and ERP/MRP/PLM systems.
• Bias toward tooling/automation to keep counts accurate at speed.
• Familiarity with inbound logistics, shipping, and customs.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage vendor relationships across domestic and international suppliers.
• Own ordering, purchasing, and planning to keep builds on schedule.
• Drive supplier quality through scorecards and corrective actions.
• Travel internationally to meet suppliers and build the supply base.
• Coordinate international shipping, track shipments, and manage lead times and costs.
