Aescape, a New York-based physical AI and robotics company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own procurement activities across programs, product lines and 30+ suppliers. This hands-on role emphasizes data-driven decisions, strong supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing.

Based in New York City with 3-4 days in the office, the candidate will manage PO issuance, vendor management, and clear-to-build material readiness for new products,

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of global procurement in high-volume hardware manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems for PO management.
• Technical understanding of mechatronic components and sourcing.

Aufgaben

• Own PO issuance and management for finished goods, tooling, raw materials and direct spend.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve delivery, shortage, and invoicing issues.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and negotiate terms across multiple programs.
• Lead NPI sourcing and ensure material readiness for prototypes and production builds.
• Support supplier vetting, onboarding, and qualification of alternate sources.
