Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology seeks a Head of Supply Chain Management to oversee intralogistics, procurement, inventory management, and quality control for the US and Canada. The role drives inventory optimization, supplier performance, and working capital while coordinating with Global Logistics and regional leadership.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in supply chain with leadership, Lean/Six Sigma and SAP experience, and a global mindset to align regional needs with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, manufacturing or logistics experience; 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading multiple supply chain functions with budgets, cost-reduction, working capital, and KPIs.
• Experience in a global matrix organization is preferred; Lean/Six Sigma/APICS or ASCM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term supply chain strategies aligned with regional/global priorities.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operating model across procurement, field replenishment, inventory, intralogistics, transportation, and quality control.
• Direct sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and purchasing policy development.
• Oversee forecast, replenishment, inventory control, shipping, distribution, and import/export activities to support installations.
• Establish processes and governance for data integrity in SAP and ERP systems.
