Job summary

Our client, the U.S. branch of an award-winning European technology group, seeks an accomplished supply chain leader to own end-to-end planning, procurement, logistics, and data governance across the organization.

You will build and lead a team, optimize supplier performance, drive cost reductions, and ensure alignment between forecast, capacity, and customer delivery commitments. Experience with SAP MM/SCM and other ERP systems is essential to implement robust processes and data integrity

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree required; Master's in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain preferred.
Minimum 8 years in supply chain management with at least 5 years in leadership.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM/SCM modules.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, demand planning, material management, production planning, logistics, and master data management.
Develop procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives in collaboration with sales, manufacturing, finance, and global sourcing teams.
Manage and optimize the supplier base, including supplier selection, evaluation, development, and performance monitoring.
Lead negotiations with key suppliers and establish agreements and contracts that support supply continuity and favorable pricing.
Drive initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership, including material costs, logistics efficiency, inventory levels, and lead times.
Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and production planning processes to ensure alignment between customer demand and capacity.
Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics and participate in S&OP processes to support forecasting accuracy.
