Job summary

The Vice President, Global Supply Chain at AeroVironment leads the end-to-end supply chain strategy across government and commercial markets, driving risk mitigation, scalable production, and strong cost, quality, and delivery performance.

This role oversees Supplier Quality & Development, Purchasing, Subcontracts, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Compliance, and Small Business Liaison functions, ensuring regulatory compliance with FAR/DFARS/NDAA/ITAR and alignment with enterprise KPIs while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 15+ years in global operations, supply chain or procurement in aerospace/defense or tech industries.
• 10–15 years in leadership in global operations, supply chain, or compliance.
• Proven CPSR, FAR, DFARS, NDAA, ITAR compliance experience with audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy to mitigate risk and scale production.
• Oversee CPSR compliance and ITAR adherence across suppliers and contracts.
• Lead Purchasing, Subcontracts, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Quality & Development to ensure quality, on-time delivery and cost targets.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to support new product introductions and design changes.
• Train internal teams and suppliers on regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing practices.
