Job summary

King Aerospace is seeking a visionary Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead our end-to-end global supply chain, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. You will design scalable strategies to support complex aircraft maintenance and defense programs, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer.

The role requires 10+ years of aviation/aerospace leadership, deep ITAR/FAR/DFARS knowledge, and a track record in optimizing MRO and defense supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in aviation/aerospace logistics, defense contracting, or MRO supply chain management
• Strong understanding of ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS compliance and government property management standards
• Experience with ERP/WMS in aviation environments (SAP, Pentagon 2000, Ramco) and supplier management

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a comprehensive global logistics and supply chain strategy
• Oversee material forecasting, procurement logistics, inventory staging and distribution
• Establish KPIs for throughput, order accuracy, inventory turns and vendor compliance
• Ensure supply chain support for MRO, ISR modifications, and AOG requirements
• Manage warehousing, kitting, hazardous materials handling, and reverse logistics
• Implement inventory controls and Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement
• Maintain compliance with ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS and OSHA
• Maintain traceability and audit-readiness for military/government parts
• Oversee carrier selection, freight negotiations, and 3PL relationships
• Travel 30-40% to support logistics planning and execution
