Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Vice President of Global Supply Chain to develop and execute a global, end-to-end strategy. You will lead Supplier Quality and Development, Purchasing, Subcontracts, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain Compliance, ensuring resilience, efficiency, and compliant operations across government and commercial markets.

You will oversee ERP systems, drive KPI-based performance, and partner with Global Operations to deploy best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Aerospace Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 15+ years of global operations, supply chain, or procurement experience.
• 10–15 years of leadership in global operations, supply chain, or compliance.
• Proven CPSR, FAR, DFARS, NDAA, and ITAR compliance experience.
• Extensive experience with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop a global supply chain strategy to mitigate risk and enable scalable production.
• Lead Purchasing, Subcontracts, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Quality & Development.
• Ensure CPSR, NDAA, and ITAR compliance across supplier networks.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to support new product introduction and supplier capability ramp-up.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on CPSR status and procurement performance.
