Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Project Specialist for Global Strategic Accounts to support the growth of the global supply chain by automating manual workflows and improving reporting. You will collaborate with sales to streamline processes, reconcile data across global datasets, and develop one-touch automation solutions that free up time for strategic activities.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining VBA-based automations, enhancing customer-facing reports, and applying AI tools

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macro development (import/consolidation, dynamic ranges, lookups)
• Analytical problem-solving to translate business needs into solutions
• Experience automating manual processes and maintaining tools over time
• Strong data management and reporting structure across multiple sources
• Solid project management in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI tools in development/analysis/documentation
• Excellent communication to train non-technical users
• Self-starter mindset, eager to learn new systems and solve unfamiliar problems

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in global supply chain processes, providing practical solutions.
• Meet with sales teams to review processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Manage and reconcile data across global datasets for reporting.
• Enhance internal and customer-facing reporting and communications.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot Excel VBA macros for automation.
• Develop one-touch automation for recurring tasks (backlog, commit-dates).
• Own full lifecycle of automation tools: requirements, build, testing, rollout, training, maintenance.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate development, analysis, and documentation.
