Job summary

Manhattan University is seeking a Global Engagement & Study Abroad Coordinator to oversee logistics and operations for the Office of Global Engagement. You will support students in expanding international perspectives and collaborate with faculty to arrange programs abroad.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Global Engagement and Study Abroad and requires strong data management, budgeting, and intercultural communication across campus partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in college-level study abroad and/or with international students.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Sheets/Apps and manage data with Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate logistics for study abroad programs (budgets, travel, AR/AP).
  • Book flights, travel, accommodations and coordinate services for programs.
  • Counsel students on program selection and guide them through applications.
  • Track funds from students attending programs (deposits and balances).
  • Coordinate with Registrar, Residence Life and Bursar to implement programming.
  • Represent the Study Abroad Office at conferences, orientations, and workshops.
  • Work with Registrar, Financial Aid, Residence Life, and Dean of Students to ensure in-house clearance to study abroad.
  • Evaluate and improve office policies to increase efficiency.
  • Manage data on students studying abroad and related metrics.
  • Develop emergency protocols and standardize procedures including trainings.
  • Oversee communications for student crises abroad and with families.
  • Manage budgets and reconciliations for Global Engagement Office.
