Job summary

NAVEX is seeking a Director of Strategy and Transformation to own complex strategic initiatives end-to-end and drive measurable outcomes. This role reports directly to the CSO and collaborates with the CEO and business leaders on high-priority programs encompassing strategy, corporate development and cross-functional execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of management consulting experience from top firms (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, etc.).
• 8+ total years in corporate strategy, growth strategy, or related roles.
• Experience at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic substance and outcomes of priority growth initiatives sponsored by the CSO.
• Lead complex cross-functional programs with clear accountability, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Shape NAVEX’s enterprise strategy by synthesizing market, customer, financial, and operational insights into clear recommendations.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the CSO and represent the CSO perspective in forums.
• Structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and decisions across the team.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, decision memos, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board discussions.
• Identify strategic growth opportunities and expansion initiatives.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, market adjacencies, and competitive positioning.
• Support corporate development initiatives including market scanning, partnership evaluation, M&A assessments, and build/buy/partner analysis.
