Job summary

NAVEX is seeking a Director of Strategy and Transformation in Portland, OR for an execution-oriented strategist who owns complex initiatives end-to-end. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred).
• 4+ years of management consulting experience at top firms.
• 8+ total years in corporate strategy or related roles.
• Experience at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation platforms, and BI tools.
• Culture agility and AI readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic substance and outcomes of priority growth initiatives sponsored by the CSO.
• Lead cross-functional programs with clear accountability, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Shape NAVEX’s enterprise strategy from market, customer, financial, and operational insights.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the CSO and represent the CSO perspective in forums.
• Structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and amplify analyst impact.
• Prepare executive presentations, memos, and briefing materials for leadership and board.
• Identify strategic growth opportunities and expansion initiatives.
• Evaluate investments, adjacencies, and competitive positioning.
• Support corporate development including market scanning and M&A assessments.
