Job summary

Coach, a global fashion house founded in New York, seeks a Director of Architecture (Global Store Design) to lead end-to-end retail design globally from New York and key Asia markets. You will set standards, drive innovation, and align VM, merchandising, construction, and operations toward a cohesive store experience.

You will manage teams across regions, mentor leaders, and ensure design excellence with operational and budget discipline, shaping the brand’s future-proof store environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading global retail architecture programs.
• Ability to translate strategy into design standards and guidelines.
• Strong leadership across cross-functional teams including VM, merchandising, construction and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global architectural design strategy across all retail formats and markets.
• Lead and inspire a team across New York and Asia, fostering local alignment and accountability.
• Establish and maintain global design standards, guidelines, and toolkits for brand consistency.
• Provide oversight to regional design managers on store layouts and designs, ensuring on-schedule and on-budget delivery.
• Champion innovative materials and technologies to advance store environments.
