Job summary

GE Vernova's Power Conversion and Storage business is seeking a Workforce Planning and Operations Manager to oversee staffing for multi-billion-dollar datacenter projects. You will coordinate human capital strategy, ensure teams are staffed, mobilized, and compliant with international labor and immigration regulations.

Key responsibilities include ramping staffing with Central Talent Acquisition, managing immigration and global mobility, and upholding prevailing wage and apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, commerce or a related field.
• Experience: minimum 7+ years in resource management, project operations, or global mobility within large-scale industrial, energy, or datacenter infrastructure.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of international immigration laws, cross-border workforce management, and labor compliance.
• Communication: Ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level and navigate matrixed structures.
• Complexity Management: Experience on mega-projects ($500M+) with multiple disciplines and global logistics.
• Travel: Up to 10% travel based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and Recruitment Ramp Up: Build staffing strategy for project ramp-up and align with project schedules.
• Immigration & Global Mobility Oversight: Manage international labor mobility, immigration requirements, and compliance.
• Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship Compliance: Ensure payroll and labor reporting meet wage and apprenticeship mandates.
