Job summary

JAARS is seeking a Launch Coordinator to ensure new staff are prepared, cleared to begin service, and supported through the early months in their field assignments. You will build proactive relationships across departments to meet readiness indicators and provide resources for healthy, sustainable service.

Qualifications

• Cross-cultural experience preferred but not required.
• Communicates compassionately and empathetically, and can build trust.
• Willing to work odd hours to be available to recently deployed staff.
• Proficient in Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Staff assigned to the Launch Coordinator maintain steady progress toward completing all required pre-field requirements.
• All staff receive launch clearance only after required readiness indicators are completed.
• Identify barriers to launch early and address through referrals, coordination, or intervention.
• Maintain documentation and progress tracking within Launch Team systems.
• Ensure staff serving in overseas assignments arrive with preparation, resources, and approvals.
