Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a strategic, hands-on Global Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead reliability, release engineering, and operational evolution of its Integrated Platform. This event-driven platform connects enterprise apps with client-facing experiences via APIs across Capital Markets and more.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or closely related production engineering experience.
• Demonstrated engineering people-management experience, including hiring and performance management.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot skills with API design, concurrency, performance tuning, testing, and secure coding.
• Hands-on AWS experience deploying and operating services (IAM, networking, observability, IaC, ECS/EKS/Lambda).
• Production Kafka experience covering event-driven design, partitioning, schema evolution, delivery semantics and failure recovery.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills in schema design, indexing, queries, transactions, migrations, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing SRE team with hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Own the SRE strategy and execution roadmap translating priorities into reliability and scalability improvements.
• Remain hands-on in architecture decisions, code reviews, and automation tooling.
• Advance AWS infrastructure and platform automation including IaC patterns and secure configurations.
• Improve Kafka reliability, consumer lag handling, and data integrity across processing pipelines.
• Strengthen PostgreSQL performance through schema design, indexing, and migrations, with production readiness in mind.
• Lead release engineering and deployment readiness, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and safe deployment patterns.
• Make service health measurable by defining SLIs/SLOs and reducing alert noise with actionable metrics and traces.
