Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Application Resiliency Engineer to design, build, and operate fault-tolerant infrastructure and patterns across AWS. You will define reliability strategy with SLOs, error budgets, disaster recovery posture, and collaborate with product, application, and platform teams to meet availability commitments.

You will lead multi-region, multi-AZ architectures, run chaos experiments, automate self-healing and failover, and coordinate incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical cloud experience.
• 10+ years in SRE, DevOps or Cloud Architecture with enterprise-scale reliability leadership.
• Deep expertise in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Define reliability strategy, SLOs/SLIs, error budgets and disaster-recovery posture.
• Design multi-region, multi-AZ architectures and publish enterprise reference patterns.
• Lead chaos experiments and game days; automate self-healing and failover; coordinate incident response.
