Job summary

Radar, a global geolocation platform, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed SRE team responsible for scalable and highly available production infrastructure. The role focuses on observability, incident management, and collaboration across product, data, platform, and security engineers to deliver reliable services worldwide.

We deploy to AWS via EKS, use Terraform, MongoDB Atlas, and CircleCI, with a strong emphasis on automation, AI-assisted tooling, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and mentor a globally distributed SRE team
• Be responsible for observability, monitoring, and incident management practices
• Work on core Radar infrastructure using Terraform all deployed to AWS via EKS
• Collaborate with product, data, platform, and security engineers for highly available systems
• Champion automation and self-service capabilities over manual processes
• Drive initiatives for 99.99%+ availability and multi-region deployment
• Ensure security by default in processes and infrastructure with GRC/security teams
• Engage with Radar customers and prospects to incorporate feedback
