Zusammenfassung

Amazon is seeking a Spare Parts Inventory Manager to shape the global strategy for spare parts within the Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. You will oversee stock levels, lead process improvement projects, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize availability and reduce waste across sites.

You will partner across tech and non-tech teams, implement nodal strategies, and define operational standards for node receipt, storage, and shipping.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Aufgaben

• Partner with peers to develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy for spare parts inventory management.
• Drive initiatives to ensure the right spare parts are available at the right locations, minimizing costs while maximizing operational efficiency
• Support the development and execution of the nodal spare parts strategy, defining how sites reallocate stock efficiently to reduce inventory holdings while improving parts availability
• Support nodal cluster expansion activities, including site onboarding, launch readiness criteria, and defining operational standards for how nodes receive, store, pick, and ship inventory
• Support initiatives to maintain and improve spare parts data integrity, ensuring accurate cataloging, sourcing attributes, and lifecycle information to enable effective purchasing and inventory decisions
• Conduct data analysis and effectively interpret reports to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and implement changes
• Lead and champion complex, cross-functional process improvement projects
• Drive initiatives to deprecate redundant workflows and simplify processes with global impact
• Innovate and implement best practices to enhance the tracking of spare parts, improving accuracy and efficiency
• Define and implement success metrics to measure the effectiveness of spare parts management initiatives
• Prepare and deliver detailed, data-driven business reviews to senior management
• Drive communication across RME and Operations senior management
