Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Spare Parts Inventory Manager to shape global spare parts strategy within the Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. You will drive stock availability, optimize workflows, and lead vendor evaluations in collaboration with procurement.

The role emphasizes data analysis, cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams, and process improvement initiatives with global impact. Strong Excel/SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives to ensure the right spare parts are available at the right locations, minimizing costs while maximizing operational efficiency.
• Support the nodal spare parts strategy, reallocating stock to reduce inventory holdings while improving availability.
• Define the carrier framework requirements, including selection matrix, service levels, and performance scorecards.
• Lead data integrity efforts for spare parts cataloging and lifecycle information.
