Jobgether is looking for a remote procurement professional to lead sourcing, vendor management, and international logistics for residential construction projects. You will translate drawings into PO’s, track orders, and ensure timely delivery from overseas suppliers to U.S. sites.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and finance, utilizing Excel/Sheets for cost comparisons and procurement trackers, in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience with overseas manufacturers and international procurement.
• Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs procedures.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple suppliers.
• Ability to interpret construction material specs and certification requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for procurement trackers and cost comparisons.
• Experience sourcing materials for U.S. construction projects is a plus.
• Autonomy to establish processes from scratch in a startup environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to coordinate across time zones.

Responsabilités

• Sourcing and vendor management: identify and shortlist manufacturers and suppliers, request quotes and data sheets, negotiate terms.
• Translate drawings into purchase orders and track orders through delivery.
• Coordinate international shipments and manage import/export documentation and timelines.
• Verify material compliance with project specs and codes; address quality issues.
• Develop and optimize procurement workflows, track budgets and shipments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and finance to resolve sourcing challenges.
